Major Duties and Functions:
- Processes all aspects of invoicing in the Village’s financial software for payment, including but not limited to reviewing support documentation, applying purchase order procedures, and properly filing all payment documentation.
- Responsible for printing Village checks and non-negotiables, processing wire payments, and Electronic Funds Transfer in the financial software to prepare them for banking procedures.
- Responsible for processing all aspects of the Food & Beverage tax, with a strong emphasis on collections, tracking, and following up on delinquent accounts, and researching new businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the accuracy of the customer database, reviewing remittances for accuracy and compliance, processing receipts, and reconcilingthe database to the general ledger.
- Provides customer support to Food & Beverage taxpayers, which includes answering all inquiries and questions about the tax.
- Provides backup support for the Finance Department for cashiering at the Village front desk, and customer service for utility billing.
